Blogging Bling

The Lock & Key Anklet pictured here and available at www.Biker-Bling.com, is one of my favorites.  I find that I reach for it over and over again.  Its black, white and brown color pallette looks great with just about everything and the lock and key charms sparkle with Swarovski crystals.  When the light hits the charm, it is a real standout.  I have actually sold these because women have seen me in it at the market!!!  The closures are beaded and fasten sort of like a lasso.  They stay on, but the closure is more than practical, its another decorative element.  I just love when form and function really do come together!

Yep, this month’s issue, August 2007.  To clarify, though, they aren’t written about as their own feature.  The toe rings are in a photo, a pic of Elle MacPherson, in an article called “Talking Fashion” on page 130.  Elle is wearing either silver or white gold toe rings on each foot, and an amazing chunky anklet.  I keep telling everyone foot jewlery is going more and more mainstream for the chic–here’s proof positive.  You’ll have to check it out yourself; no copy of the photo here–I don’t want to mess with anyone’s copyrights!

I get asked this question a lot, and the answer is “yes, year-round, in almost any kind of shoe.”  I wear fitted toe rings, and I have found a good, comfortable fit, so I am totally comfortable wearing them all the time!  I can exercise in them, swim, etc.  I’m no more aware of them than I am my finger rings.  Pictured here is my current “staple” stack of toe rings, a gold trio with one of yellow, one of white, and one of rose gold.  It is classic, looks great with everything, and the trio of colors makes it unique.  I mix up and change out my toe rings all the time, except for this stack!  Its available at Barefoot Bling.
